Smokin’ Blue Burger
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 8oz Block of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Seaside Grown Smokin’ Blue BBQ sauce
- 5 Slider Rolls
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. Divide mixture into 5 even balls.
Heat a large pan on medium to low heat. Preheat oven to 385.
Cut the block of cheese into 12 even cubes. Make a thumbprint in the center of each meatball and gently make a hollow spot. Place 1 cheese cube and 1 tsp of the Seaside Grown Smokin’ Blue BBQ Sauce in the hollowed-out center of the beef, wrap the meat around it, completely covering the cheese.
Add burgers to the pan, frying on the first side for 4 minutes before flipping and frying an additional 4 minutes on the other side. Transfer burgers to an oven-safe dish to cook an additional 15-20 minutes depending on the desired finish. The famous Seaside Grown Smokin’ Blue Burgers are delicious to eat with just the slider rolls or load them up with all of your favorite condiments and toppings! We like to drizzle the remaining Smokin’ Blue Sauce on top for added flavor.
