A Masqued Party to Welcome the New Year

A masquerade party to ring in the new year! Special guest chefs, Charlie Roy of Gumbo Thyme and Mark Thomas of Magnolia Grill Catering created a menu of delicious tapas-style bites.
The overall ambiance was designed to be simple, yet glamorous. Guests were asked to wear shoes they could easily kick off and attire that would allow them to sit on pillow seating. The tablescape was the perfect blend of festive and outdoors. We used pops of gold and champagne— from the chargers, silverware, napkins and a sequin table runner to the candles and floral sprays. The center pieces were paper mache trees and a reindeer. Technically, this party theme would work for any event, even outside of the holidays! It was so much fun to be in the comfort of our own home and still feel like we were somewhere else!
